Nearly every 12-step rehab in the world still offers a group-meeting approach to therapy. A 12-step-based rehab gives you almost zero one-on-one attention and lots and lots of group meetings. We have found, through direct experience, that that treatment model is not effective and is very out of date. You deserve better.

I was in treatment at Passages Ventura last spring in "09. It was by far the most helpful thing I've ever done for my addiction. I have been sober 17 months now thanks to the foundation I began building at Passages. I have been to 9 twelve step programs prior to this one and never put together more than 2 months of agony being sober. Take it from me that this program can drastically change your way of thinking in a positive, productive, realistic and optimistic way! Chris and his son Pax Prentiss were extremely helpful in addition to the one on one therapy sessions. Also it was a very nice, pleasant, and relaxing enviornment very suitable for it's purpose.
